This delightful aged kokuto shochu has a golden hue from Evergreen Oak barrel aging for five years. Beyond the full-bodied smokiness is a lush palate of banana, mango, and cherry pie.

Allow yourself to be soothed by the presence of the two serene bunnies on the label. Our time spent with this shochu revealed it to be overall round and pleasing, and very easy to drink. Have this on the rocks or with soda.

About Yayoi Shochu Brewery

The oldest brewery in Amami Ooshima, Okinawa. Still a family business, they made handmade Kokuto Shochu using premium Okinawan brown sugar and thai rice for their komekoji. Thanks to this they are able to produce aromatic and flavorful Kokuto Shochu. Established in 1922.
